My creative spark began at a very young age. I started shooting photographs with my dads Canon mm film camera back in the s while growing up in East Lansing MI. Later on, I enrolled in a couple of photography classes in high school and college and I was hooked My creativity also led me into the field of video production. I followed my older brothers lead and began working as a videographer. I worked for my high school television station, then the local city TV station, before working for the Detroit Tigers for a season running a video camera and other duties for the scoreboard. Soon after, my family started a video production company and I produced, directed, and edited television commercials and corporate videos for several years. My next career move was into the world of independent films. I was a Grip, Gaffer, Script Supervisor, Assistant Director and Editor for several films that were produced all over the United States. In the last couple of years, I have rediscovered my passion for still photography. I have been shooting landscapes, people, sporting events, music events, and creating my own original series of photo subjects. Most of the photos you see on this website have been shot in the last couple years with a few exceptions. I now shoot in high quality digital format. I have been shooting with both Canon and Nikon brand cameras. I recently purchased a Canon D camera and primarily shoot with this camera now. Please feel free to look around my web site.
